eternell: sacred-tribes: I don’t care if it’s “not your type of blog”, I’m shocked and disappointed that my dash isn’t flooded with prayer and best wishes for all of those in Oklahoma. You still have a home to sleep in tonight, and your life is not literally uprooted. Let’s have some decency here and let everyone effected know that all of America is rooting and praying for them to come out on top of this disaster. Okay I kind of have a bone to pick with this. First, some people may not have heard of it yet so maybe that’s why. Second, you don’t need to shout it to the world to show you care. Third, reblogging a post or making posts won’t help any of the victims, if you feel so strongly please donate to the red cross or disaster relief, that’s the most effective way to help. And lastly, please don’t guilt trip people because they have something that others may not. No one asked for a disaster, so please don’t make others feel guilty that they weren’t in the middle of a storm.  I, for one, am not religious so I don’t find the point in praying, but my thoughts go out for all the victims and their families. I hope they will get back on their feet soon and hopefully try my best to offer some help by donating some money.
